Introduction

Notre Dame de Paris is the classic love story of Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame revamped into a modern stage production by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante. Audiences all over the world have fallen in love with the show. The love story starts in 1998 in Paris at the Palais des Congres and still continues today. When Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante started their collaboration on the idea of a Notre Dame de Paris musical spectacular, they could not have imagined that 15 years later more than 8 million people in the world would have have seen their production. Notre Dame de Paris has played and toured in France, Canada, England, China, South-Korea, the USA, Italy, Russia, Taiwan, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Lebanon and Singapore. Notably, the show has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest sales of tickets ever in the first year of operation.
